Refund Policy
SHOWCASE AND INDIVIDUAL EVENTS
a. Refunds for Withdrawal Prior to the Event
This policy applies to any Lakeshore Lacrosse or Skyline Lacrosse Events program where a fully registered and paid individual participant withdraws from the event and submits a request for refund. The refund request will be honored if received at least 30 days prior to the start of the scheduled program/event, less a 10% processing fee off the registration price.
In any instance where a registrant requests a refund under 30 days prior to the start of the program or event, Lakeshore Lacrosse and/or Skyline Events reserves the right to refuse any refund and also request supporting medical documentation of any prohibitive medical condition prior to processing any refund. Refunds given due to properly documented medical reason are subject to a refund less 10% processing fee of said registration price.
TEAM EVENTS
a. Refunds for Withdrawal Prior to the Event
For any Lakeshore Lacrosse DBA Skyline Lacrosse Event - in the event of any team who is fully registered, wishes to withdraw from the event for any reason, the refund request must be received at least 30 days prior to the start of the event. Lakeshore DBA Skyline Lacrosse Events, will issue a full refund of paid registration fees less the event deposit. Deposits for events are due at time of registration and are non-refundable.
Lakeshore Lacrosse DBA Skyline Lacrosse Events reserves the right to amend this policy year to year and on a case-by-case basis should unusual or extreme circumstances prohibit participation by a properly registered team.

WEATHER POLICY
In the event of inclement weather, an act of God and/or unplayable field conditions, Lakeshore Lacrosse DBA Skyline Lacrosse Events reserves the right to alter schedules, fields, and playing time, and/or cancel any and all games impacted by weather conditions to maintain safe play conditions and/or keep event on time. This includes but is not limited to: rain, snow, heat advisories, cold advisories. Lakeshore Lacrosse DBA Skyline Lacrosse Events will operate in such a way to maintain player and participant safety.
Lightening Policy:
Lakeshore Lacrosse DBA Skyline Lacrosse Events utilizes radar technology at all events, showcases and tournaments. If lightening is detected within a 10 mile radius of the event, three horn blasts will be sounded and all participants and spectators will be asked to go to the designated shelter on site. An “All Clear” will be given by a following three horn blasts when 30 minutes has passed without a lightening strike in the designated 10 mile radius. Each time a new strike is detected, the 30 minute timer must restart.
Heat and Cold Policy:
Lakeshore Lacrosse DBA Skyline Lacrosse Events will operate in such a way to secure player, participant and spectator safety. In extreme heat, where wet bulb temperature reaches 100 degrees, Lakeshore Lacrosse DBA Skyline Lacrosse Events will move all games to 4 - 10 min quarters. If the heat index/ wet bulb climbs higher than that, Lakeshore Lacrosse DBA Skyline Lacrosse Events reserves the right to cancel games, require water breaks and/or any other adjustments to keep participants safe. This same policy applies in instances of extreme cold temperatures. When temps are observed below 30 degrees, game length will be adjusted at the sole discretion of the Event Director.
WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS
The tournament has fixed expense relating to field rental & facilities, staging and set up costs, insurance, personnel and other matters regardless of cancellation due to weather.
Therefore, in the case of cancellation for any reason prior to the first game of the tournament, team registration fees will be refunded as follows:
• 50% of registration fee refund to each team
• Refunds will not be issued due to any weather-related adjustments or cancellations after game play has begun during the tournament.
• Every effort will be made to allow each team to play at least 2 games in cases where there is inclement weather, but this is not guaranteed to any team.
DISCOUNT POLICY
Lakeshore Lacrosse DBA Skyline Lacrosse Events will offer a multi-tournament discount at the discretion of the Event Director. Tournament discounts are not guaranteed and are given on a case by case and tournament by tournament basis. Any advertised discount policy prior to 09/01/2018 is null and void.
